Hi, I’m Kara Crump, the owner of Optimized Strength and Performance.
I’m originally from Florida and moved to the PNW in 2019—thinking personal training would be a temporary stop. It didn’t take long to realize this is what I’m meant to do: helping people feel stronger, more capable, and more confident in their everyday life.
With a B.S. in Exercise Physiology and an M.S. in Kinesiology with a focus in Corrective Exercise and Sports Conditioning,
I design programs that are personalized to your body, goals, and life.

I believe training is part of long-term health. Doctors and physical therapists help when something hurts—my role is to help you build strength, improve movement, and create habits that support you for the long run.
